I JUDAS PRIEST PRESENTANO LA VERSIONE REMASTERED/EXPANDED

IN USCITA IL 10 MARZO

I Judas Priest, una delle più grandi band della scena metal, che ha fatto la storia del genere con album fondamentali come ‘British Steel’ del 1980 e ‘Screaming for Vengeance’ del 1982 presenta ‘Defenders of the Faith’, l’album disco di platino del 1984 che contiene i grandi successi ‘Freewheel Burning’, ‘Jawbreaker’, ‘The Sentinel’, ‘Some Heads Are Gonna Roll’ e ‘Love Bites.’

Il 10 Marzo 2015 una nuova expanded version in 3 CD dell’album sarà pubblicata da Columbia/Legacy. Conterrà l’album originale (10 tracce) rimasterizzato dal produttore Tom Allom, e una registrazione live completa tratta dal ‘Defenders’ tour, registrata alla Long Beach Arena in California, il 5 maggio 1984.

Il concerto comprende 21 brani suddivisi in due cd, e include classici quali ‘Metal Gods’, ‘Breaking the Law’, ‘Sinner’, ‘Electric Eye’, ‘The Green Manalishi (With the Two-Pronged Crown)’, ‘Victim of Changes’ e ‘You’ve Got Another Thing Coming,’ insieme al materiale del nono album da studio della band, all’epoca nuovo.

Come afferma la band nelle note di copertina della ristampa “It’s 30 years since we released ‘Defenders of the Faith’ – we’re very proud to say it has become a classic that’s beloved by Priest fans throughout the world”

I Judas Priest sono reduci dal successo del loro diciassettesimo album in studio, ‘Redeemer of Souls’, che riconferma la popolarità del gruppo più forte che mai, con il debutto alla posizione più alta di sempre tra le pubblicazioni dei Priest (al 6° posto della Billboard 200).

Il gruppo è attualmente in tour con uno spettacolo che comprende anche successi da ‘Defenders of the Faith’ che i fan non sentivano dal vivo da molto tempo.
